No, I am referring to Windows Update. Type Windows Update in the search box and select Check for Updates.

Okay that's perfect. You can go ahead and check for updates now.
@essenbe is the man for your build. His reputation precedes him. When this thread is finished and closed, and you are ready to work on the new build, you can open another thread, use his forum name with the "@" in front of it, and he will get a notice that he's been quoted in a post, so he will find you.
Translated that means I don't want to do it so I'll pawn it off onto anyone else that will take it. :)

    So, to recap:
    sfc /scannow shows no problems
    Windows Update is up-to-date
    Ccleaner has been run
    MBAM and ADWCleaner are done
ESET and Paid MBAM have replaced Trend Micro

I would like to see the latest list of your installed programs now please. From Ccleaner, installed programs, save to text file. Thanks.

Then we should be finished. :)

@simrick, don't know if you had a chance to grab this earlier today. I had Peter do a full Speccy and post it. After all who wanted it had grabbed it, Steve deleted to keep it "out of the wild". Grab if you want, and I will delete after. TC
