    Hi:

Another good program is SuperAntiSpyware as it finds PuP's that Mbam does not .....but Mbam does not look for them as hard as SuperAntiSpyware,
Not sure how you came to that conclusion?
    See here and here.
(And the user needs to be sure that the MBAM settings are properly configured to both DETECT and REMOVE the PUPs. Some users intentionally disable those settings because they want to install and keep certain PUPs.)

Perhaps you were thinking of NON-MALWARE tracking cookies?
If so, you are 100% correct. MBAM does not target tracking cookies. MBAM targets malware, mostly non-viral malware, especially zero-hour and zero-day threats that can be missed by an anti-virus.

its mainly looking for more serious infections.
No two security applications detect the exact same database or behaviors.
That's why it's important to take a layered approach and to use occasional, manual, second-opinion scanners (SAS, or others, if desired).

    Cheers,
    MM

If you google up "superantispyware sale" you might stumble upon a $9.99/year promo. Last year I got 2 licenses for $14.99. :)

No Peter its not as good ...but does work WITH Mbam very well .....Mbam is your 1st choice, then you can also try SuperAntiSpyware the FREE version for a while to see how you like it. I use both myself...

Don't run them at the SAME time thou. :)
