Windows Update for Conexant SmartAudio HD Screws up my Audio

I had the latest Conexant SmartAudio HD drivers from Lenovo installed, and my audio was working just fine until the latest Windows Update for those drivers happened. Twice, I fixed the audio by reinstalling the Lenovo Drivers, but Windows keeps screwing up the audio by reinstalling the update. Is there a way to fix the audio?

try going into sound > Playback
Select speakers then press properties
On the Enhancements tab - disable all enhancements
