Me too, haha. Thank you very much. I will update the thread when it arrives.

Unfortunately the power hub did not make a difference in Windows Media Player's behavior or PowerISO. I want to get this thing to work. I know I could just purchase a new one, but I'd rather work on what I have.

Is there another step I need to take or does it look as though there is another problem at hand. Monday I will be trying the drive on another computer.

Anyone else?

Search for 'powered USB hubs' , items such as this will work , but any of them should do.
