No, how is that accomplished please?
Control panel; devices and printers; right click on printer; printer properties; advanced; Print directly to printer.
If it works, then it is a spooling (Windows) issue.
"Print Directly to Printer" is grayed out.

If not, I am afraid I have no further ideas to this issue.
(it was already said in the thread: try first to fix the problem with the USB connection, before concentrating on network printing).
