How to avoid Windows 10 downloads driver for new HW?

I want to uninstall a driver, but as soon as windows is rebootet, it download and install a driver

I want to install a driver that I do know work, but to do that, Windows own driver must be uninstalled.

    How can I avoid this?

    Hi there

It will give you respite until the NEXT load of updates so you need to repeat the process --not too often though.

In Device manager choose the device whose driver you need to fix, choose properties and then select ROLL BACK DRIVER. This will recover the previous (working) driver again and won't update until the next slew of windows updates appears -- hopefully not too often.

    Cheers

Sounds like a beta OS from the 80's or 90's.
How can windows 10, in 2015 not have the option to keep drivers of your personal choice installed?
    Quite shocking

First, set your internet connection to 'metered'

(How to change your internet connection to 'metered.')

Restart your computer and uninstall the driver you don't like and install the one that works.
Restart your computer and let us know how it works out.
