Why do you want to do a hard reset?

But, if you really want to go down that bumpy road, we can try.

    1. Please post a disk management screenshot:
Disk Management - How to Post a Screenshot of - Windows 10 Forums

    2. From an elevated ("run as administrator") command prompt, please post the results of:
    reagentc /info

    3. Do you have a microSD Card inserted? I would recommend 32GB but can probably get by with 8GB.

You didn't answer why you want to hard reset the tablet?

But, if you really want to, we can try this:
In disk management or MiniTool Partition Wizard Free, assign drive letter R: to the 4.88 GB Recovery Partition.
From an elevated ("run as administrator") command prompt, run:
    reagentc /setosimage /path "r:\windows images" /index 1

If that command says "Operation Successful" then you should be able to do the reset.

If that command fails, you want to look at R: and find the folder containing install.wim. Then run the reagentc /setosimage command again, but put in the folder name that contains install.wim instead of "r:\windows images".

and you do have to include the quotes "" around the path - if the path contains a space in it.

This should take you back to the factory Windows 8.1.

Hello NavyLCDR, need some help on this. I solved camera problem of 3 pieces with your method. But one piece camera refuses to get repaired on windows 10. Tried everything, uninstalling drivers then windows update, tried lenovo drivers, also your method but get error "Something went wrong...error code". So, i went back to windows 8 and camera not working also. On windows 8 get error "To get started, connect a camera". Seems like hardware to me, what do u think?

Make sure you still have the Intel(R) Imaging Signal Processor 2400 driver installed and it did not update to the Intel AVS stream device (or something like that). If the driver got updated to the latest driver from Intel, it stops working.

I only updated to Windows 8 driver not any other driver, also I did full reset settings so I got my old driver back
