    Re-Discovering Drives

what would be the reason that external drives keep being re-discovered. I have an ext usb 3.0 drive that when plugged in it gets discovered correctly then i let it sit not moving or jiggling and after a while win ten comes up saying it just discovered e drive again, and again and again

this is really annoying and I'm worried about data corruption as well.

any info on this is greatly appreciated

Im thinking you maybe have a loose connection to your external drive.

Also check the power supply connections. I'd also wonder if a USB 2.0 port is being used instead of USB 3.0.
