    need driver for my dvd,cd,rerw?


    I have a Acer laptop aspire 8951G-9630 had windows 7 pro upgraded to 8.0 then 8.1 all pro, the DVD,cd,rewrite,and blue-ray, worked fine until windows 10 pro now doesn't recognize the rewriteable disks it is a uj141al Matsushita BD-CMB ( Panasonic)? need different driver? or what? thank you

    Have you tried installing the Win8.1 version for that laptop from the Acer download site? If there isn't one, try the Win7 version. Or if you're lucky, the support Win10, and have a driver for it. For laptops, in any case, it's better to get drivers from the OEM site.

    The only drivers for optical drives is the built in Windows drivers.

    Try a refresh of the drive. Go to the device manager, uninstall the drive, restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall it.

    yes tried that it running on a 2006 driver now but it doesn't work on the rewrite disk?
