HP driver update Error 0x80240017

    Although my original post states that my printer is working, the HP forum can only suggest plugging in the printer, doing a clean install, etc. Maybe a robot is responding to the posts.

    I can live with the constant error messages.

    For now, I give up.

    That being said, your best bet is to find the drivers yourself and install them. If you can't find specific Windows 10 drivers, try 8.1 drivers.

    I think the suggestion given to you was..............if you can't update with Win 10 driver, try a Win 8.1 driver.
