    Thunderbolt driver issue


    Whenever I boot, and once the desktop shows up, and error message displays "Application cannot run. This thunderbolt application is not in use anymore and can be safely uninstalled"
    I followed the troubleshooting described in this website without success, the error message keeps nagging

    Any suggestions? Thanks

Intel software updater said my laptop needed Thunderbolt 3 drivers. I had no idea what they were so downloaded and allowed them to be installed. When I reran the updater it again said the drivers were needed and non were installed so did it again....
