Ambiguous Device Software Notification

    Ambiguous Device Software Notification


    I just got a notification which said to finish installing device software. How can I find out what device software the notification was referring to? There aren't any yellow flags in Device Manager, and Windows Update and Windows Update MiniTool didn't find any updates.

    You can take a look at the Reliability History, as well as the Event Viewer and see if there's anything there. Just type each one into your Search window to bring them up.

    I didn't find anything in Reliability History, and Event Viewer has the usual ambiguous error messages.
