    Nuvoton SIO CIR Device Driver

    Is there a way to remove Nuvoton SIO CIR Device Driver? I dont use it. I dont know where it came from but Windows Update is downloading it

    It's for the infrared panel on your computer that allows you to use an infrared remote to control it (EG: Power, Volume, etc. if you use it to watch media for example).

    You may be able to uninstall it in Device Manager (right-click 'Start' button), although I'm not sure whether it will just come back as I haven't tried it. However, instead of uninstalling it, I'd either leave it as it is, or just disable it instead. Pic below.
