Windows 10: How Long Does It Take to Open Devices & Printers?
No (known) HP devices, just Epson & Samsung...
No (known) HP devices directly connected, BUT yes there is an HP network printer on the LAN.
Everything I've tried that seemed to fix the long delay only lasted a few days at most. The long delay has always returned so as I mentioned, I gave up and screwy Win10 wins.
On my PC it takes over 120 seconds. I have a laptop with an i7 cpu and 16 GB memory. The disk is a SSD at 128 GB.
Thanks Microsoft for stealing cpu cycles to no use. I have moved three of my other systems to Linux now because this Windows 10 crap freaks me out.

I have two identical BT headphone sets that show up on the Devices and Printers page as the same name. Is there a way to rename one of them? I could rename one in the Sound properties box, but it did not change in the Devices and Printers page or...
Control Panel > Devices & Printers takes about 30 seconds to open. Any idea why? Never had this issue in previous Win versions. Thanks! ...Steve
