AMDA00 / Atkexcomsvc on fresh install

    Hi everyone,

So, after a fresh install I immediately noticed this service running, I know this is Windows 10 pushing Asus crap on me (I own a z97 pro mobo).

My main question is, how can I actually remove this? I know where the service is located, I can just simply remove that folder but what about the AMDA00 in the device manager? Is it safe to just uninstall it? I think this is just a probe thing to be used with Asus Suite which I don't use, nor any other asus software.

Hello sptz and welcome to the forums. AtkexComSvc.exe is part of AI Suite and needs to run for AI Suite to function. If you uninstall AI Suite, it should remove it. If not, it most likely runs at startup so you should be able to remove it from startup services, or disable it in services, msc.

Thanks for the reply but as I said on my OP, I did not install any Asus software, neither did Windows, it just installed that driver which comes with that process. There's also no option to remove it from Program and Features
