    Mine are set exactly as his. (Except my clock rate is 4GHz) I don't know what else to do. I guess I could switch back to Windows 7. But switching back to a 7 year old Operating System for a sleep issue seems a little drastic... I really want to dig into this.

    Edit: Off topic. I notice you have a processor with a 15MB cache! Is that a pretty good performance increase?

    It is if you do things that will use it. Just routine stuff, you don't notice any difference. If you do things like CAD or HD Video encoding, there is a big performance gain. Even gaming I notice no increase in performance.
