yup. it sorta does that with my relative's Epson WF-2760 printer showing up as a removable drive whenever it is connected to any usb port
Thank for the input.
Since I don't like the idea of hiding ALL hidden drives I have just ignored it. I gave it the drive letter W in Disk Management so now it does not interfere with drive letters for devices I actually use, like phones, cameras.... Until Windows updates to a new version and i need to go back in a give it W again.
It would be nice if we could hide devices individually.
My Epson printer has a built in card reader which showed up as a drive in This PC. I never use it so just disabled it in Device Manager.
