I have a 250MB Iomega USB drive but also have a WinXP computer with an internal 250MB Zip drive and combination 5.25"/3.5" floppy drive, saved both against the time clients want data retrieved from those disks and also because more modern BIOSes don't have support for the A: and B: drives, motherboards don't have the port for them.
I have an IDE Zip 250 drive that works perfectly fine within Windows 10. I connected it to an old mobo to see what was on some drivers.
No hate, but I'd consider just using USB flash drives. They are actually more reliable than Zip, are much faster, and are far more convenient to use.

I was curious as to the poster's use of Zip 100 cartridges, whether it was for nostalgia or whether there was data to be recovered.
If the poster would like to backup the Windows partition on a few hundred Zip 100 cartridges, that'd be OK with me. I still wouldn't call it practical.
For clarity, I wouldn't use zip disks either, and I have about 50 or so new ones just sitting in my garage along with a USB Zip Drive.
Anyway my response was to the way you initially addressed the OP. But yeah, I see no use for Zip disks when thumb drives are readily available and dirt cheap. But that's me.

As I said, I mostly need them for helping my clients recover data. The big shame with the Zip drives was the 750MB version was too late after CD-burning caught on with the 650MB discs. Adding to that was they could read/write the 250MB disk but read-only of the 100MB disk.
Did anyone get the parallel port version of the Zip Drive 100 working on Windows 10? I just received a brand new one from eBay, unaware of the drive being a parallel port.
My mother passed away in January and she had about 40 of these Zip disks still, which I would like to transfer all of her photos from those disks and backup on DVD and external hard drives so that I have all of her photos finally.
I also bought a parallel to usb cord on Amazon just now in hopes that I can figure out the driver issue. Fortunately, the zip drive is brand new so I've got the original software if I need to get drivers from those disks.
If no one figured this out yet, I'll let you know my progress in a few days after I get the parallel to usb wire from Amazon.
Worst case scenario, I have an old PC that runs Vista at my warehouse still that I never parted with, and I might possibly still have my old Windows 98 machine in my attic. I'll be able to get these photos hopefully one way or another, but I'd prefer to do it on my MSI GT72VR 7RD Dominator if possible instead of one of those old relics / boat anchors!
