    Struggling to print CD/DVD

I like my Epson Stylus photo R300, has always done a good job of printing my CD/DVDs, but alas since upgrading to Win10 64 bit, (Win 10 works automatically for standard printing) but not for printing CD/DVD it gives me the nag that the driver dealing with CD printing is not installed. Any ideas, your thoughts as always most appreciated. I have installed the latest Print CD software.

I have an Epson 835 that will print to CD/DVD's working in Win 10.

I did an upgrade from Win 8.1 and didn't have to reinstall everything. However, coming from Win 7, reinstalling ALL the Epson software, including the Epson Print CD program may be needed. It appears Win 10 64 bit is supported.
Here is a link to the Epson downloads.

fireberd: Cheers for the input, with Win 10 the drivers are automatically there for my Epson R300, but they do not install for the print CD utility, have tried going back as far as XP (failed miserably), so I am open to all suggestions.

I would uninstall the printer and all software. Disconnect the printer from the PC. Restart the PC and do a new install and ONLY connect the printer when the install program tells you.

Will probably end up going that route, but that will be when all hope fails.

I have just installed Print CD ver 1.20E and with Windows 10 64bit already coming with R300 drivers I can now print CD/DVDs. All is well with the world. Thank you for reading my post.

After all I have spent a whole day with this issue, I found the easiest way to solve the problem is the next:

    1. Take a Gimp into your programs(use a stable version I used 2.8.10)
This is a free software for photo manipulation and publishing(if you are not heard about it).
The Epson Print CD is not worked with manual printing mode altough I tried with suggested options, but I found that under GIMP is work fine.

    2. In this link you can download a free template for CD/DVD surface and 'How to' for usage:

At first sight It's seems to be difficulte to use template in fact as just a little bit different than Epson Print Cd. (The twelve steps is just for threataning)The main thing is put the cover image into YOUR IMAGE HERE Layer , and the second to make the center will be invisibile and not print anything for the inner hole.

Printing CDs was fine until a recent Windows 10 update in 2018. What worked for me was to uninstall the R300 printer and reinstall the driver and PrintCD program from my original software CD (and THEN connecting the printer). In so doing, I barely saw a small on-screen notice that Macromedia was modifying the driver to be compatible with Windows 10. Can't recall if I had to click OK or if it all happened automatically. Ability to print CDs was restored.
