volume Partition Issue in windows 10

I have 1 TB hard disk , brand new laptop. I have 1 drive (C drive OS pre-installed) only and i am trying to make partitions through Disk management. problem is when i try to shrink the volume i am getting 482 GB as a unallocated space and othr half is 442 GB/ (C drive). i want to reduce C drive space to 200 GB instead of 442 GB but i am not getting that option or i am not allowed to do it. please help

Could you post a screenshot of Disk Management?

Use MiniTool Partition Wizard instead of Windows disk management:
Best Free Partition Manager for Windows | MiniTool Partition Free

Since it is the system partition you will be shrinking, MiniTool will ask to reboot the computer and complete the actions upon reboot.
