    Touchpad problem solved with upgrade?

    Hi,
I'm using a laptop that was originally running Vista but was upgraded to Windows 7. I have a problem that is typical with that upgrade in that Windows 7 does not make available the proper drivers for the touch pad and the result is that the cursor has a mind of it's own when typing. They typical patch is to use a software like touch freeze but that is a very mediocre fix.

Does anyone know if an upgrade to Windows 10 will fix the touch pad problem?

    Thanks, Jon

not sure if it will ,but the title of your post make it sound like you fixed the touchpad error with a upgrade ,a lot of people who might have an answer will not even open this thread to look ,you should edit to read "will upgrade to win10 fix win7 touch pad driver error " or something like that .

my unofficial opinion would be ,no not likely, as Microsoft and computer manufactures really wants you to have a newer laptop
