I don't know if this would help or not but it may be worth a try. Delete the camera driver in device manager and restart the computer. This will reinstall the driver.

A bit of a follow up on this. I did two things and one or both fixed the W10TP crashing when I access the camera's memory card. The default player used by W10TP is Windows Media Player it's something other. I switched over to PotPlayer for other reasons that I'll not get into here. The other is that they have a good sale on a Lexar 64GB Class 10 microSDXC at OfficeMax/OfficeDepot ending tomorrow. The 32GB microSDUHS1 Class 10 included in the package deal was some off brand(GoSpeed) which I couldn't locate online. Although marked HD Ready/3D/4K, I'm not sure about it.

They claim that the camera is finicky about the cards used. Although they say Class 4 or above. I've read that it needs a Class 10 to work correctly.

Future of portable devices (as an IT journalist thought 20 years ago)
New York Times published an article by Erik Sandberg-Diment in December 1985. I have it saved in favorites to remind me how today really is not what we thought 20 years ago it would be. A few quotes from the article:
