Error code 0XC000021a "Keyboard & Mouse stopped working"

My win 10 computer has just started giving me the above error code.
I can log in using mouse & keyboard, but when I get to the start screen I get the above error code 0XC000021a.

I have tried several times to do a fix, like shutting off the power supply, rebooting, waiting etc.

    Any solutions out there?

I am sending this Email on my Win 8.1 desk top.

Can you boot in Safe Mode?

That's one thing I have never tried!

    How do I do it?

    Here you go:

See if that works and if you can enter the system. Post back here if you can.

    Golden:

Before I try the safe mode, there one thing I want to mention.
    On the boot screen It mentions;

    "2 mouse 1 keyboard"

Now I will try the "Safe Mode".

    All:

    Problem solved!
Intuition told me to load the CD that came with my ASUS motherboard!
It gave a message " This is a bootable CD reboot your computer".

I did & it took over & fixed everything!. Even turned things over to MS & verified my credentials!
It even booted back into windows 10!!

This "OLD FART" got smarter today!

By the way I just installed a Kingston HyperX 500GB SSD! Into my Win 8.1 computer. Really FAST!

And upgraded my network cables to CAT6! Busy OLD FART!

    Thanx everyone for you attention!
