    Hi Mark,

I class the indicator lights as a non core function or "Bells and Whistles" as I have owned and or used more than one keyboard, mainly Wireless, that do not have any indication lamps fitted. these Keyboards were fully functional in that I could type on them and the correct characters, showed on the screen. If the manufacturer driver was used you would see a temporary on screen pop-up indication if you used the windows driver you got nothing

Doe's anyone remember whether the lights worked with the previous two builds?

Yes, the current issue is only with build 9879.

YES -- the lights worked fine with the previous builds.

UPDATE: Well, the December Update just came out -- and it does not fix the keyboard lights problem. Since this is likely to be the only update this month, it looks like we'll have to wait for January Update or the Consumer Preview to fix this.

I dont understand why they would not try to fix the issue with the lights quickly.

I think it would be considered a show stopper.

    and would warrant a patch.

My wireless Logitech keyboard does not have lights can't be a show stopper.

No lights on my Logitech K750, but that's because there aren't any.

Great keyboard, but you have to rely on the 'on screen info' for Scroll Lock, Num Lock & Caps Lock

I so rarely look at them, I didn't even notice until it was mentioned here but now it's annoying.

Time for a piece of electrical tape to hide then from sight
