    If you check my system specifications below, I'd like to know whether I can run a Z97 motherboard, are they compatible?

    Go to the Gigabyte site and check there. There are so many versions of motherboards, RAM, video cards, etc., that very few, if anyone, will know without looking it up. And, since it's your system and you built it, it'll be much easier for you to look it up yourself.

    You can try out this site:
    Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (G1.Sniper Z87) - PCPartPicker

    It lets you pick out the parts that match up with the motherboard you chose.
