    Note - A lot of AV suites don't like the Nirsoft stuff but I've been using them for years without issue

    Anything here of use ? If I look in device manager without the USB3 drive attached I still USB3 related entries.

I've just fitted A Silverstone pcie board which has two internal 19 pin usb 3 outlets. it works fine with W7 and 8.1 but sadly the drivers won't work with 10 (all 64 bit). W7 required the driver cd but 8.1 found the drivers automatically. No doubt...
Hi there as before (Win 8 / 8.1) if you want a LOCAL account simply during the setup phase just disconnect the NIC cable (or if on a VM detach the virtual NIC. Then go back a step and it will then prompt you for a local user. Surprised nobody...
