I did....real small made for mini desktops style, mine is not a mini desktop. Its actually listed by HP as a gaming pc....lol It is one of their high end models back in 2014. I have a 600 watt PS so can handle a high end card.

Should not matter homemade (custom built) either way, your best bet is PC manufacturer if not custom built or motherboard site in any case. MSI if look back and read other posts or even check Gary's specs for his board, go to that site, will see the newer one as mentioned a few times here. Truthfully i would not trust sites like station-drivers or some other one, but that is just me i know.
    I agree, and already said that...too :)

The PC I build before this one had an Intel Board but the processor was the first P4 processor. I doubt that I will ever build another one as it really is not worth it. The price you pay for all the parts plus the time spent. I do not have a work bench so all of my work is done on the floor which at my age with bad knees is not good. If I ever need a new PC, it will be bought pre made.:)

Also check your amps, not just wattage for a card. Might as well go for mine or GTX 980 while your thinking.
This one is $319. now although MSI http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc..._-14127832-S0F

No thanks, way to much money for me......but those prices will drop, as newer models come out. I will not spend 300 bucks for any card..... AND I don't play ANY games....just want a FAST graphic's card. :)

My PS is 750 Watts. Mike's 600 watt would probably be OK.
