Try what jds63 is suggesting 1st......when I log on to intel, they keep checking MY system. Also I would need to know the file date and version of your controller installed now. I can't see your info in your device manager. Your too far away.
The date of install and version are below:

Did not know dogs get diabetes, sorry to know if this is so, i love dogs. Go tend to her.
Yup that is the dog in my profile pic. She is almost 8 years old now, turned diabetic a little after her 6th birthday. So I had to learn real quick about her care and maintenance being diabetic. 2 insulin shots every 12 hours. AFTER she eats. Also I take her blood sugar level too, before every shot. I also never knew that dogs could get diabetes. Oh well, all part of being a dog owner. :)

Well I might have found a driver you can try, I had to download it myself. Only way I can think of is maybe send it by email. If you want to give it a shot...has a setup.exe inside a zip file....let me know....

Like I posted earlier my WEI Total score went from 5.9 to 7.1. I do not have the breakdown as what I am using to get it only provides the total. That being said, I am happy with what I have and my machine is running better than ever so I say to move on and just forget about this, I am happy. Thanks Mike for al you have done but as I am concerned -this is a closed issue.

Add in one more time myself.

It is recommended that the Intel(R) Chipset Device Software be installed onto the target system prior to the installation of other drivers.
The 'Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility' must be installed prior to installing Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology. Mean also drivers for SATA controller.

Seen date on your post in device manager, compared to one on the MSI site
    Driver : Date 06 May 2011
    Driver Revision 10.5.0.1027
    Build Number 1027
