    You should use AHCI in case of any SSD to run optimally and support TRIM operations NCQ(Native Command Queuing), as it will also help the performance of the SSD. Possible do not have AHCI drivers installed.IRST, SATA AHCI Controller drivers. 5 years old it should be there though as i had system that old that did . It will run fine without it, but not optimally and loose some features as shown.

    I still think Gary is trying to use AHCI but is having boot problems....with it....

    Yep, just looked here at his board, older drivers only up to Windows 7, but found the AHCI Drivers.Might not even have them installed was my thought.

    You do what, have those drivers installed ? Look over the rest even though older drivers ? Possible Windows 10 installed them

    I tried it won't boot and it is using Trim.
