    AMD R5 with intel HD 4400 incompatibility


    Hi,
    I have an acer aspire e1 472G with intel HD Graphics 4400 + AMD R5 240
    Acer provide the windows 10 driver only for the intel 4400
    I tried every combination possible :
    AMD current driver, AMD beta driver, ACER intel driver, Intel website diver.
    And all I get is : code 43 on the intel graphic card.
    Interesting thing to note : when I install the driver, it works, I can get 3D graphic fine, but after reboot : code 43.
    I also tried to block windows driver auto update.

    Please go to your last post and in the bottom left corner click 'My System Specs'. there is a link there to update your system specs, click it and fill them all out in as much detail as possible. Please list Manufacturer and Model, and list Desktop or Laptop. If it is an OEM, please list the Manufacturer and Model number. Please be sure to list your PSU and CPU cooler. If you would like to know what we would like, please click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post and see mine.

    If you have a dedicated graphics card, you do not need the Intel graphics driver. Motherboards disable the on board graphics when they detect a dedicated graphics card. You need the Windows 10 AMD Graphics driver for your dedicated card.

    Didn't your previous system specs say Desktop? Laptop needs Windows 10 drivers from Acer for both Graphics Adaptors.

    Yes, I didn't fill the specs.
    But Acer provides driver for windows 10 for intel graphics only. No windows 10 driver for the AMD graphic adaptor.
    Does it mean I can't use windows 10 with this laptop ?

    It may. They should provide a driver. Almost all OEMs alter their drivers to work with their laptops. So, no other driver will work right.
