New NVMe driver, version 3.0, like I said was coming(because of the 970's)

Right now you can get it at Major Geeks, as the daily limit is full at Samsung's site: Download Samsung NVMe Driver - MajorGeeks

I doubt it, I bet they had it finished before the 970's came out, and Feb 2018 was the final version is all.

The title is a bit obscure and outdated.

It started out as a thread over the "new" 950's, but I have kept posting about the drivers ever since, because I go to the Samsung site daily any how, to check about Magician(a thread I started years ago).

I think speed scores will be different, depending on is the system patched for meltdown/spectre, what CPU one has & BIOS, is HPET turned on or not(in BIOS) or is it forced on in the OS, and other factors the effect NVMe speeds.(oh, and system background writes and reads).

This is why I don't really run any disk benchmarks, because to compare with others, it's actually meaningless, because of the above factors, I h
ave given that up a while ago:)
Only exception is when I want to bench my system with Performance test.
