Thanks I don't think it does anything for my 950 Pro. Looks like Samsung just put all the drivers in one basket.

    Thanks for telling me.
I don't need it, but living in Germany I'm awake before the US & Canada.
I'll see if I can download it tomorrow when I wake up, then place it on my OneDrive, and post a sharing link, and keep it for 2-3 days before deleting the file and nuking the link ok.
Thanks Cliff, I got it. Same performance as before, but at least they didn't break anything.

You're welcome, at least if you buy a new 960, you'll already have the current driver installed.

Just to inform everyone , in about 6 or 7 hours, I will be deleting the link to the M.2 driver.

TenForums is not a hosting site, and this was just for a few days, for the members in the world, that get up later, than the Europeans, too late to download it from Samsung, before the total daily D/L limit was reached.

2 days is more than enough time, and as of writing this, already 17 users have downloaded it.

The Driver is Available, but "Downloads per day" are limited

When I tried to grab the driver yesterday, it gave me a response that the daily download limit had already been reached. When I tried to grab it just now from the Drivers & Downloads page, it worked. Obviously, YMMV!

PS: It didn't help performance for my 950 Pro, either...

I think the change was for the new 960's.

Agreed, Cliff. But one can always hope, right? As a borderline obsessive driver updater, I feel better for becoming more current anyway.

    Yep!
My new PC has a Samsung MZVLV512HCJH (PM951) 512 GB PCI Express Gen3 x4 M.2 disk and the NVMe driver doesn't do anything for mine, it is not recognized, and it uses the default SCSI driver from 2006

    Unless I'm missing something?
