    Are there faster processors available where all that’s necessary is to plug in the new processor, not having to install a new motherboard or chipset?
    No, unless you have one of those interesting motherboards that supports 6,7,8 and 9th gen intel cpus.

    doesnt support win11.

    Depends on your budget. If you must have an oem machine something like dell 5060/5070
    or better an HP 800 g4/g5

    or you can build your own easily enough. Motherboard, ram, cpu , power supply and case.

Hi, My computer has issues with overclocking and overheating and I had found that the most reliable fix was to lower the max processor state to something more manageable (100% to 80%, etc). However, the option to do this in "power plan" settings...

I am not a gamer or into photography. Usually I surf, use Office, occasionally run some DISM commands and would like to use Oracle's virtual machine. With a new build should I get i7 with hyperthreading I don't think I would use, or would an i5 do?...
