    C:\Windows\System32>
    mkdir D:\Recovery\WindowsRE
Copy it to the above directory first
That makes a directory on the D: drive?
I did that and no directory has appeared anywhere?

So you see D: Data and not New Volume as before

That is the result of this command
    label D: Data

Then doubleclick on D: and look for the Recovery Folder

in the box down the left side it says New Volume (D:) but in the main box it calls it Data (D:)

If I double click on it I get
    'no files found'

NO sorry we are crossing threads I re did it and it refused saying it was already there but I can't see it in explorer

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>mkdir D:\Recovery\WindowsRE

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>mkdir D:\Recovery\WindowsRE
A subdirectory or file D:\Recovery\WindowsRE already exists.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>
