First of all we need to see if the drive is MBR or GPT.
I gave you a simple way to check.
Another way:
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
diskpart
list disk
exit
On the last column (GPT) does it has a * on it?
If the drive is MBR you can use diskpart to set the partition as active so it boots as Legacy-MBR.
If the drive is GPT you can use diskpart to create a EFI partition so it boots as EFI GPT.
