    HP Printer 3636 - doesn't print


    hi friends,

    Looks like my HP3636 All in One printer decided to play games.

    When ever I tried to print a copy from my system, it would start taking the page inside the clip, then the paper goes a bit wonky - then error keeps on blinking, when u press error notification button, the blank page gets printed. I got fed-up of it after nearly 15 attempts, so tried testing the Xerox/Copy feature of the machine. I tested a blank paper first, so no issues.

    Now, I tested a printed page to print but nah, it doesn't print zilch & the error notification keeps on blinking.
    I assumed maybe the cartridge issue but still asked printer to print its "information", first it gave the same blank page but on second attempt it printed the details.

    Same with the network configuration page, it printed 3 pages of it fine & even declared "No problems found. Congratulations on the successful setup of your wireless printer."


    Basically, the printer would print its information page without any issues but won't print anything from either Laptop nor via its own Copy/Xerox mode.

    Help appreciated.

    Hi some times it's best to start fresh delete all printer software and drivers. then reinstall printer and software.
