    Updating Chipset Driver

I am trying to verify that the chipset drivers i got from my motherboard maker were installed. When i went through the process i got no verification. Hopefully someone can help me sort this out.

I cannot find anything on my chipset in my device manager. I have looked in msinfo, hwinfo64 but i can get no chipset version information. I have asked chatgpt, ASUS forum and Overclock.net forums. they all failed so I come to where i should have come first Windows 10 forums.

    I am on Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 B19045
I am using an ASUS Z790 APEX motherboard and 13900KS cpu.

I got the latest chipset driver from here version 9.0.11405.42569

Is there anyway to confirm that this update took ?

    here is my device mgr.

In my add remove programs i do see an installation of a chipset driver 10.1.19199.8340 that was made on January 4th. The Chipset download from ASUS was posted on March 21st.

The one listed in my add/remove is the last/oldest one listed on the ASUS website. But they are called different things. The oldest says it is an "installation utility" ?

Chipset "drivers" is not an actual driver, it's a list of driver names so device manager can show you the names.
Chipset Driver shows up in settings/apps/installed apps or also in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features
