    You have two problem symptoms that might be two symptoms of a single problem.

    Fix your Windows first and then worry about the printer afterwards if it still needs any attention.

    Thanks, no matter what I did I could not get it to print via the A1 printer. A repair upgrade fixed the issue in the end - hopefully saves someone else later.
