Odd arrangement of items in Disk Management vs This PC

    (G:\), (H:\), & (M:\) are encrypted partitions. (E:\), (F:\), & (L,:\) are unencrypted data partitions.

But this shows (M:\), but not (L,:\). which is opposite of what is expected? L:\ should be there, and (M:\) has no business there.

The main problem for me right now is that L:\ is not listed anywhere except for Disk Management, which means, for example, I can't select it as a location for in my backup software.

Just to see what would happen, I changed the drive letter. Now, that letter, V:\. appears in the list

but when I change it back to L:\, both letters are gone, as before

The arrangements of the drives and partitions on them can be confusing. Are any of those [other than Disk 0 letter C] with EFI partitions containing a bootable OS? If not used for storage some space can be saved on them, the EFI is part of booting. Those partitions marked as RAW probably are not usable, I'd format them as NTFS. GPT is for creating large partitions on large drives. I have 1TB and 2TB drives in Desktops for Data storage and only one partition on them assigned D: for the drive letter.

As far as drive lettering, I use it but also put a Label with each one, could be descriptive as to subject matter or simply the size of a partition, may a hint to the make such as WDC256GB, etc.

    C, D & K are OS partitions. E, F, I & L are data partitions, the RAW G, H, J and M are encrypted partitions, which, when mounted, become N, O, P, AND Q.

    I can't place a title on a drive that doesn't exist.
