well i got a notice a few days ago telling me i can install win11 so i let it install and then the next day i get a notice that i need to address some security issues and that took me to drivers. i did not have those issues with win10 but win10 may not have looked-for those issues. i wonder how audi's deal with that hearing aid program. i have to run that program to tune in my hearing aids and i have no idea how the drivers are not compatible or got doubled up. i could not even see them in the siemens' fitting folder. and i changed the attributes in file explorer and still could not delete them.

anyway i now have win10 back and the files i need for now and already i got the notice to install win11 it has been less than half an hour and win11 want to install. nope not this year

Yes. There's a tutorial for that...

Enable or Disable Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist in Windows 11 Tutorial | Windows 11 Forum

I've had the "Vulnerable Driver Block List", turned OFF for almost two years, on Win 11 and I haven't been hacked, sold into slavery or captured by pirates.... yet.

    I wouldn't hold your breath.

Microsoft is not going to just let go of their driver vulnerability list. They think it's a good idea.
You could always do what most of us did... make a full backup of Win 10, then upgrade to Win 11.

If you don't like it or it isn't working for you... you can always "restore" your Win 10 backup.

That's why most of us use backup software. It takes me just under two minutes to restore from a backup image.

No, you would only see the driver warnings if you try to turn on Memory Integrity in your Windows 10. It's off by default for W10, on by default in W11. As far as Windows Security is concerned that's the only difference between 10 and 11, Memory Integrity is available in both. Try it and see...
