How to fix my USB devices not working except for Flashdrives

I have this problem for months now and find no solution. My problem is that my usb devices like mouse keyboard phone controller when i put it in the laptop it always says usb device not recognized except for flashdrives which works perfectly fine in any port and also the usb ports has power like it can charge my phone but not recognized it. My drivers are all up to date and done most of the basic troubleshooting
