How to "suppress" a drive ?
Hello
My Windows 10 version is 22H2 Build 19045.4046
I had to "upgr ade" some disks to larger space - All partitioning, copies went fine
My disks were initially called "D:" and "E:"
After I replaced them annd restarted Windows, I tried to "rename" the new volumes to "D:" and "E:" - It worked fine for "E:", but I noticed that "D:" was now used by an empty USB drive .... (see attachments)
I tried to remove the "D:" drive but did not succeed
There in no physical unit associated to this let ter
How and why was this unit added yto my system ?
How can I suppress it so I could use the letter "D:" ?
Thanks for your help
Have a good day
