Help me check if there are USB-C ports

    Hi,

I want to know if these three motherboards below has usb-c port at the back of the pc case and if these motherboards allow usb-c connector at the front of pc case, please help me check if my findings (written below beside motherboard) are correct? I am not very sure if I understand the specifications correctly.

What is the difference between motherboard name that ends with WIFI vs WIFI II?

    Thanks.

The way to answer these questions is to download the manuals.
ALL motherboard manuals show all the motherboard connectors and the back panel connectors.

Like for the TUF motherboard... the manual says this... (this is a 20 pin connector)

If the case has USB-C connectors on the front... you will just plug the cable in this motherboard connector.
If you buy a USB-C connector for the back... you plug it in here, also.

You can buy things like this...

Amazon.com: LINKUP - USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 20Gbps USB-C Type Internal Panel Cable Mount Motherboard Header Extension Adapter┃20-Pin A-Key Male with Cover to USB-C Female Connector with PCI Bracket - 40cm : Electronics

If your case doesn't have a USB-C front panel connector, you can buy something like this...

Amazon.com: Kingwin Powered USB Hub 3.0 w/ 1 USB-C Port, SD Card Reader & Micro SD Card Reader - Sata Power Port w/Lightning Speed Data Transfer Up to 5Gbps - 5.25" Computer Case Front Bay, black (KW525-3U3CR) : Electronics

You can also just buy cases and motherboards with USB-C connectors.

Here... this motherboard has front panel and rear panel USB-C connectors...
Asus ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI) - PCPartPicker

AND... it has a rear panel Clear CMOS button and a BIOS Flashback button.

This motherboard has front and rear USB-C connectors, and the BIOS Flashback, but without the rear Clear CMOS button...
Asus PRIME X670E-PRO WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (PRIME X670E-PRO WIFI) - PCPartPicker

Here's three more with front and rear USB-C and BIOS Flashback...
Asus PRIME X670-P WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (PRIME X670-P WIFI) - PCPartPicker

Asus PRIME X670-P ATX AM5 Motherboard (PRIME X670-P) - PCPartPicker

Asus TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard (TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI) - PCPartPicker

And, all these cases are mid-tower, ATX with front panel USB-C connectors...
    Choose A Case - PCPartPicker

Here's the same case list, sorted for normal, well known companies...
    Choose A Case - PCPartPicker

NOTE: PCPartPicker is a great place to search for computer parts. They have a great navigation and filter system.

PCPartPicker always looks for the lowest prices from reputable retailers too.

If you want the bells and whistles... get the latest chipset in the series.
In this case... the X670 or X670E chipset motherboards.
The ASUS/AMD motherboards like X660 or X650 won't have as many bells and whistles, etc.

When the chipset numbers start to drop... they are taking things... away from the motherboard.

When you buy a motherboard... any kind... you're buying the "chipset".

In pcpartpicker.com where do you see if the motherboard has front or rear USB-C?

I intend to use AMD Ryzen 5600 or 5600X CPU, where/how can I check if the motherboard model is compatible?

The manufacturers website would tell you all you need to know.

As I said above... check the manual to be sure. I didn't see anywhere on PCPartPicker to filter for USB-C motherboards.
They did have that option for cases though.

The 5600 or 5600X are AM4 socket CPUs. Get a CPU for an AM5 socket instead.
There's no point in an AM4 build anymore. Already, DDR4 RAM is starting to go out of stock in most places.

Also... look at "how many" 5 star reviews there are for anything you intend to buy...
The CPUs with the lower TDP wattage, will run cooler and so need less cooling.

"There's no point in an AM4 build anymore." Why do you say this?

AM4 is cheaper, motherboard, CPU, ram are cheaper.

The decision is yours ofc, but when a new chipset comes out.... the older chipset hardware gets harder to find and because of this, the price goes UP.
Ofc there are other considerations as well. DDR5 RAM operates at a much higher frequency, than DDR4 RAM.
The CPUs are faster and have a higher boost speed as well.
Last but not least... the chipset itself will have more bells and whistles, than the older chipsets.

If I have a am4 now, if I want to change to am5 is it must change motherboard, cpu, ram only. Other components (e.g. gpu, psu, disk, case ) all can reuse?

Does Intel motherboard last longer or shorter years than AMD motherboard, before needing to change a new motherboard to upgrade CPU? Is AMD or Intel more value for money now?
