Open Msconfig and from Boot tab make the Windows 10 you want default boot operating system and delete the Windows 10 entire you don't want after that apply changes and from disk management delete the Windows 10 partition you don't want and reboot your system.

Then open Command Prompt and run as Administrator
C:\WINDOWS\system32>diskpart
list disk
sel disk # (replace # by the disk number containing the (C:) (0 or 1 ?)
list par
sel par # (replace # last partition number
delete partition override
create partition primary
format quick fs=ntfs label="Data"
assign letter=D
copy&paste the commands and you are ready
Mmmhhh.......will try, but probably beyond my limited capabilities......I am self taught, but didn't have a very good teacher !!......anyway it looks like no harm done, many thanks for the replies.....
