    You could try to clear the CMOS memory to see if that helps. This is from the manual for your motherboard:

    You may clear the CMOS values by removing the battery:
    1. Turn off your computer and unplug the power cord.
    2. Gently remove the battery from the battery holder and wait for one minute. (Or use a metal object like a screwdriver to touch the positive and negative terminals of the battery holder, making them short for 5 seconds.)
    3. Replace the battery.
    4. Plug in the power cord and restart your computer.

    an update on the situation.. the flashing process was done correctly and the pc works now.. the black screen of death with a little white glowing area turns out all we must do is enter the biospassword and all is back to normal. ps the info you shared about cmos battery etc i found also on some website. the only thing we still dont know is the meaning of the bios letters, a b g
    safe to say all is now operational so thank you for all those who commented here!
