    Acer V3 575 Wont Boot


    Hi,

    I followed a video on youtube about disassembly of an Acer V3 575 & applying new thermal paste. I took off the existing thermal paste with a microfiber cloth & isopropyl alchohol. I then reapplied new thermal paste, & put back together the laptop.

    Now if I try to boot, it doesnt power on at all.

    If I put the charger back in, it gives me the light of charging the laptops battery. It just wont turn on.

    Any ideas on what I can do?

    Check that you've not disturbed any connectors.

    I did check. No connectors disturbed. I just cleaned the fan, & put new thermal paste on.

    Another thing to add was that I shut it down normally & then it was stuck on updating for an hour or so. So I force shut it down by holding power, then took it apart. First thing I disconnected was the battery once it was open.
