Please post a whole window Disk Manager image of ALL your drives. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them. How to Post a Screenshot of Disk Management
If you have a MiniTool or AOMEI Partition use it instead or Windows disk manager.

    Hi MH -

I appreciate you taking the time to help. I will post this tonight. I would like to understand why you are interested in seeing ALL drives. I have a 1TB SSD with the two OS installs, and all other drives are simply data HDDs. We know that we are booting to the desired drive because it is the only drive with an OS on it. We know we are booting to the correct drive after the Win10 install, because Win7 still boots normally and we can see that we are attempting to boot into Win10 with the errors given.

So curious what your thought process is.

Also, I can install MiniTool to provide output from it.

    Thanks.

So we can analyse the complete partition layouts.

It will take less time to provide the image than discuss why.

Sometimes the boot manager is in one drive and the OS on another. It's information about your system.

Discussion is the only way to learn. I am a tech/computer/coder guy, a DIY guy, and here to learn. I was not discussing in lieu of providing the image. I need to be in front of my PC to provide it and mentioned I'll provide it later today.

Thanks for the explanation. I can easily answer this question. The boot manager is on the SSD along with the two OS installs. The other two drives are merely data drives. In other words, the one and only system partition is on the SSD with the OS installs. The data drives have no system partitions.

A comment: Also involved in seeing the drive layouts is how many partitions are on a drive, the boot/system drive will have more than the storage drives usually have. Then following up on that is how many Primary partitions and Logical partitions are on a drive.
