    Scanner stopped connecting, latest 10-2023 Win10 .net update


    Canon ToolBox 4.9 for connecting to scanner, using MF8280Cw, stopped connecting to scanner (printer) with latest Win10 update. Printing works just fine. In converstaion with a friend he too lost scanner at work connetivity. Work around is scan to USB. Anyone else have this as of Oct 2023 .net update to 22H2. OS build 19045.3570, win exp pack 1000.19052.1000.0?

    Hi, if the update is causing difficulty, you could try uninstalling it, checking your scanner works again, and block that update for now.

    Then check for a Canon update, reports on Canon forum etc.

    Note: there were 3 updates in October- including 2 for .NET, as you will see from your Update History, so try 1 at a time.
    .NET October 2023 Security Updates – .NET 7.0.13, .NET 6.0.24

    There are also preview updates.. see the News section.
