    PKI Card Print error

We have a large multi-function printer / scanner / fax / doc server, a Konica-Minolta c360i series. Many of the computers in the office are connected to it, and there has never been a problem. All of the computers are running win10 build 22h2.

So a guy who's not connected to that printer says he wants to, and I try to help him and do exactly what we always do, we don't do print servers, and just connect using the TCP/IP option, and I have the drivers in a specific place. We set it up just fine, but when trying to print a test page, get a "PKI Card Print" error, see screencap. I know that PKI is a security thing, but this has never come up before, and there are many people that use this printer.

I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this problem.

Unauthorized access to data is not a function of this site.
The error message clearly specifies an authorized certificate/card is required,so why has this "guy " not been issued one?
Because "he wants to " sounds highly suspicious.
Public Key Infrastructure [PKI] is a security measure.
