dRIVE lettersw E-K not avaiable in new Windows install
I solved the problem of "missing drive letters" by going to the Disk Management panel within Administrative Services, Computer services. Here is what happened and how I solved this problem.
I'm just now setting up my new Win 10 install, and I usually have partitions C-F on my NVMe drive, I used Partition Wizard to resize C and then create 3 more partitions. No problem assigning D but the the next available drive letter was L. Huh?
Finally I used the Control Panel and then I discovered that drives E-K had been assigned to different slots in a memory card reader. Once I freed up letters E and F I could easily assign them to my newly created partitions.
Weird thing is that these empty memory card slots, "drives", did not show up in Explorer. In my last Windows install, they did show up
Win 10 Pro 64 2H22.
